Ancillary Adventures: Exploring the Benefits of Supplemental Materials

November 26, 2024

12:00PM EST

Join us to discover the benefits and transformative power of ancillary Open Education Resources (OER) and how they can enrich your teaching. Learn to find, integrate, or create ancillary OER. From case studies to image galleries, we’ll be exploring the ways supplemental materials can elevate your teaching.   Learn how to identify, find, or create ancillary materials to supplement existing pedagogical resources in the classroom. We’ll be exploring BIODIDAC, an openly licensed collection of over 6,000 images and photographs curated and collected by the University of Ottawa related to biology and histology. The collection includes bilingual description and updated metadata. The presentation will be bilingual.   Join the BIODIDAC team as they showcase the newly updated online image databases of zoology, botany, human biology, and histology.
